Thorne D. Harris III was the first director of the Louisiana State Bar Association's Technology Resource Center established by the LSBA in 1993.  He has authoredtwo books on  computer law and has written extensively in the field.

Mr. Harris has been handling complex corporate litigation since 1974, and, in the late 1970s, he was one of the first attorneys to utilize the power of computers to manage complex litigation involving hundreds of thousands of pages of documents, and dozens of depositions. Since that time he has helped design, implement, and use systems encompassing a wide variety of needs from off-the-shelf consumer products to customized software written by multinational corporations specifically for particular litigation. Experienced in all major litigation support software such as, Concordance, Summation, and Litigator's Notebook, as well as many others, he brings a unique perspective to litigation support as both a practicing attorney and consultant. Unlike many computer consultants and litigation support vendors, Mr. Harris has used computerized litigation support successfully in a number complex cases. www.ThorneDHarrisIII.com; Thorne@ThorneDHarrisIII.com
